Wisconsin’s greatest resource is its people. I understand that Wisconsin’s economy is competing not only with the other 49 states, but also the world. I will work hard to ensure Wisconsin diversifies its economic base and finds its comparative advantage in the regional and global economy. Fostering innovation and finding efficiency through use of science, technology, and regionalism is critical for the future of Wisconsin.
I recognize there is great opportunity for public and private partnerships. I understand collaboration is necessary to make Wisconsin work. At the same time, state government cannot ignore its obligation to create a climate ensuring dignity for its constituents. I believe more effort should be invested in harnessing the community and volunteer spirit of the citizens of Wisconsin.

I believe I am a compelling candidate because I demonstrate my leadership, advocacy, and result-mindedness to the constituents of Wisconsin. My career, civic, and organizational accomplishments reflect and demonstrate my commitment to the advancement of this State.
I served in numerous elected positions during the last 13 years. I continue to pursue and serve in such capacities because I believe it is a person’s responsibility to make a difference. Throughout my life, countless people ensured there was social and economic infrastructure in place to facilitate my development and success. Upon reaching my own sustainable livelihood, it would be unthinkable for me to turn my back on future generations or those who facilitated my path. It is important that the representative serving on the Wisconsin State Senate identify with the needs of their constituents. I identify with the struggles faced by many Wisconsin families as they preserve the dignity of their elders, save for their retirement, and prepare the foundation for future generations.
I have the desire to serve my community, and am prepared to stand up for quality. I have the knowledge, skills and experience to develop and advance public policy. I am a coalition builder who will make Wisconsin strong.
